10 Days and Counting!

I’ve officially made it one third of the way through the 30 Day Fitness Challenge.  10 days done!

The thing that keeps me going isn’t that my friend is doing it with me (or rather, I’m doing it with her), but that if I miss a day, I have to go back to day 1.  That’s what’s making me stick with this challenge.

I’ve been walking around our neighborhood with Jack in his stroller, but once I walked in a mall and another time or two I did a Leslie Sansone’s Walk Away the Pounds video.  Boy, that woman is perky!  Tonight, I did the video while Jack was playing in the room.  It was fun to Walk (Around Jack) Away the Pounds. I didn’t kick him or step on him once!

If you’re doing this challenge, or if you’d like some tips for exercise and healthy living, check out Heather’s Tip of the Day during the challenge.  It’s simple stuff like staying hydrated, stretching (which I never seem to remember to do), and getting good sleep.  She’s really doing a great job of encouraging us through this challenge.

So, that wasn’t interesting to most of you, but I thought I’d share anyway!  As a reward for reading this far, here are some pictures of my cute little painted Buddha from yesterday.  He likes to paint himself rather than the paper.  We’re working on that.

  2. Go girl! As you know I've started my journey and it's not so fun getting started. But it's inspiring to see others making strides :)

  3. check out that baby belly Jack has going. It's adorable! I love that he is sticking it way out and looking at it. Priceless! Keep up the workouts girl! And don't forget that you are exercising every time you lift Jack in and out of the car, put him in his bed for a nap, or wrestle him for a diaper or outfit change. Who needs a gym membership when they have a growing toddler?
