I Heart Faces

 

I’m pretty sure this is only the second time I’ve ever entered the I Heart Faces photo challenge, but it just happened to line up with some pictures I took this weekend, so I thought I’d give it a go.

Their theme this week is YELLOW.  Though I have a lot of cute pictures of Jack in a great yellow shirt (I can’t post pictures or I’d be out of the competition for having more than one photo), I  just visited my friend and her new little baby this weekend (Maggie May) who happened to be all wrapped up in a yellow blanket. 

She was such a sweetie at just 5 days old.  Her big sister loves to dote on her and her big brother probably likes to squish her (he’s 2).  She’ll be very loved!!

Sweet Kisses

 

I don’t do this often, but I’m inspired today!

Over at I Heart Faces today, the assignment is KISSES.  The kissing theme is in honor of Valentine’s Day.  Oh yeah, I guess there is a Halmark Holiday coming up!  (we’ll be going to a Blue Jackets hockey game thanks to my friend Beth!)

Anyway, here is the photo collage that came to mind when I saw the topic today.  It’s quite possibly my favorite collage I’ve made of Jack so far.  I didn’t do any touching up to the photos, so I’m sure it could look better, but the joy comes through loud and clear.

I just realized that today's theme for I Heart Faces is Sun flares.

Let me reiterate that I am not a photographer.  But I remembered a photo of my son back in April that had sun flare in it, so I thought I'd post it today. I warmed it up a bit, but the flare is all accident. I like the bottom right corner.  Whatever that is called, I like it.  A sun spot?  I don't really know.

I've never participated in this 'linky', because I'm not a photographer. But this week, I saw that the theme was "Autumn Beauty", and since I've recently had a lot of fun taking pictures of Jack in the leaves, I figured I'd go ahead and link up with this photo. This is one of my favorite photos of him. I did plan the outfit to match the fall colors, but that red hair is all his doing!
