Progression

I've been taking Jack's picture with Buddy Bear every month on his birthday.  I take it on the same quilt every time.  I hoped to show his age and size progression for his first year.  I think it turned out pretty good!

Now I have to figure out what to do for his birthdays each year after this.  If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment.  I'd love to hear your ideas! I need to figure something out quickly, because I have to start with this birthday.

  1. I thought you had mentioned hanging his quilt on the wall and taking his photo standing in front of it? I'll be curious to learn what you come up with...

  2. I think on FB someone mentioned using a Rick as your standard. I like that idea. For the first few years you could do one with him standing next to buddy bear or standing infront of the quilt but I'm not sure a 16 year old will really want his mom taking his picture with buddy bear. ;-)

  3. What a cool idea! I don't have any other ideas but it makes me wish I had done this with my boy!

  4. That is VERY cool. I wish I would have thought to do that! Well, I have a new baby coming in a few months and I will make sure to try that. You still don't have your email enabled so I wasn't able to reply to your comment. I would love for you to pass on your crust recipe. I looked up some online but there are so many that it gets a little overwhelming to pick the "right" one.

  5. Just found your blog--this is super cute! I've been seeing several people do this with stuffed animals, dolls, etc. and it's seriously so amazing looking through the pictures all together like this and seeing a child's growth! When I have kids of my own I'm for sure doing this.

P.S. What a happy, adorable baby!
